Have told many people about this cruise and look forward to going on another American Cruise Lines adventure. The entire crew were friendly, helpful and worked so very hard to make our trip fabulous. This was our fifth cruise with American Cruise Lines - and we have booked two more. The ship, crew and excursions keep us comfortable, well fed and entertained. This means a 3 to 1 ratio of passengers to crew.

We boarded in New Orleans the afternoon prior to our day of departure, this included an excursion the next morning to the New Orleans WW2 Museum (Fantastic) Our room on board the ship was absolutely first class. We finished our cruise in Memphis, with a Graceland tour (the best) We will definitely be sailing with American Cruise Lines again, we cannot recommend them highly enough. This was our first cruise with American Cruise Lines, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
Great trip
Entertainment was top notch, a lot of thoughtful effort went into planning. The whole team had smiles, they worked as a complete unit, everybody helped to the guests satisfaction. This cruise line goes straight to number 1 in my book.
Friendly staff
I learned so much on this cruise and planned another one to Alaska for next year. Carol and I were very impressed with the American Eagle from the moment we stepped on the ship. The colors were bright and modern, but what is immediately most impressive is that their entry-level staterooms start at 300 sq/ft., and the ship holds a maximum of 100 passengers.

I cant say that this was the worst cruise but it was my first and I was expecting something more. Even personal looked like they do not like to be there.
American Harmony has two comfortable lounges where lectures, presentations and onboard entertainment are delivered daily. Particularly noteworthy are the two Grand Suites that measure 900 square feet apiece and include balconies that wrap around the stern of the ship, offering 270-degree views of the Mississippi River. These suites also boast separate living and sleeping areas with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres are offered during a daily cocktail hour, and round-the-clock snacks can be found in the main lounge.
Meals are served in the ship's grand dining room on Main Deck, which is capable of seating all passengers with no assigned tables. Regionally inspired cuisine is served up each day, from sumptuous breakfasts to multicourse dinners. The friendliness, efficiency and attendance to detail of the crew and staff. Very much enjoyed interacting with other travelers and the crew. Our guests are encouraged to share their personal story and write a review after their cruise. But all that doesn't negate what the line does right.

The cruise was friendly, well organized, informative, and entertaining. It is great that everything is included in the cruise price. The ship measures 241feet and carries 109 passengers at full occupancy with 50 crew. American Glory will sail on the East Coast and the rest of the fleet will be deployed across the U.S. All of the ships are being constructed by the line's sister shipyard, Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Maryland.
They are not trying to be a floating Four Seasons. I would give their down-home cuisine 4.5-stars, and I would give their service 5-stars. I must say, I wasn’t expecting this level of down-home, relaxed, yet professional service.
Each morning, at breakfast, we were given the day’s menu for lunch and dinner. We then made our selections and turned in the cards so that the kitchen would know how many of each item to have on hand. And don’t worry, if you change your mind, they could handle that as well. We love your small ships and outstanding crews. This cruise was supposed to be in the Gulf of Mexico, but unfortunately was changed so that the last 2 days were in the Atlantic and were very rough and uncomfortable. Also we had to change our return flight from Tampa to Miami, a much bigger and more difficult airport to negotiate when you have mobility problems. My husband and I just completed our 3rd cruise with American Cruise Lines and booked a 4th while on board. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make the entire experience a memorable one. We celebrated both my birthday and our anniversary while on our cruise and the staff made both very special events for us.
